CSU Football Practice No. 6

CSU football held its first two-a-day on Wednesday, including a morning practice outside - 8/12/15 [Photos by Don Reichert]

Career Division I games played/started: 11/9 (10/9 in 2014... 1/0 in 2013).

2014 (Junior): Moved into starting lineup at center before the Sept. 27 game at Boston College after Jake Bennett was lost for the season (knee)...helped lead the Rams to their best regular season record (10-2) since 2000... helped block for a 3,500-yard passer (Grayson - 3,779 and 1,200-yard rusher (Hart - 1,254)... the Rams topped the 500-yard mark five times, including twice surpassing the 670-yard mark... the CSU offense broke several single-season school records: offensive yards (6,252), total yards/game (480.92), passing yards (4,181), passing yards/attempt (9.35) and passing touchdowns (34).
Made first career start at Boston College (Sept. 27) and helped the Rams offense rack up 441 yards of total offense on the way to a 24-21 victory
The Rams did not allow a sack against Hawai’i (Nov. 8)
CSU offense is converted 51.2-percent of third-down attempts, the fifth-best among FBS teams and well ahead of previous school record of 46.3 (1985)
Ramsaveraged 497.8 yards of total offense per game, whichshattered single-season school record (470.8 in 2013)

2013 (Sophomore): Played in his first collegiate game,the Rams’ regular season finale vs. Air Force (Nov. 30), a 58-13 victory

2012 (Freshman): Redshirted as a true freshman in his first season of college eligibility.

Incarnate Word (2011): Attended the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, for one semester.

High School: Garnered two football letters at Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas...was named to the All-Greater Houston first team as a center...as a captain he helped the Cougars become region champs...also participated in track and field and wrestling...head coach was Don Clayton...played against eventual CSU teammate Mason Hathaway.
