Freshman: After receiving a lot of praise from coaches throughout fall camp, had a rough start to his career but quickly bounced back...Made his collegiate debut against the University of Colorado (Sept. 1) and recorded three rushes for four yards, including a fumble...Ran the ball two times for minus two yards against North Dakota State (Sept. 8)... After sitting out a week, came back with the best game of his young career, rushing for 76 yards on eight carries against Utah State (Sept. 22)...Busted a career-long 33-yard rush against the Aggies...Registered a career-high 11 carrries for 41 yards against Air Force (Sept. 29)... Did not play against Fresno State (Oct. 6)... Scored the Rams' last touchdown against San Diego State (Oct. 13), a 1-yard run midway through the fourth quarter...It was his first career TD and the first rushing TD by a CSU running back this season...Finished the Aztecs contest with seven rushes for 37 yards...
High School: A two-year letterman at Permian High School in Odessa, Texas, about four hours east of El Paso, signed a financial-aid agreement Nov. 29, 2011, and enrolled at CSU for the spring 2012 semester...A flywheel in the Panthers' offense, lined up in the backfield and as both a tight and split end...Averaged 1.2 touchdowns per game as a two-year varsity player...Rated the No. 110 football athlete in the nation by ESPN.com entering his 2010 senior campaign, earned three stars from the Web site...Base position was wide receiver at PHS, the school made famous by the 1990 H.G.
