2008 (Sophomore)
Played in 12 games, including the New Mexico Bowl (Dec. 20), as a reserve on the defensive line...Had 19 tackles (nine solo), ½ tackle for loss and two passes broken up...Saw extensive playing time in conference-opening win vs. UNLV (Oct. 4), playing against two of his Alaska high school teammates; reached to deflect an Omar Clayton pass late in third quarter; later, kept power back Frank Summers out of the end zone with a goal-line tackle...Sustained a head injury vs. TCU (Oct. 11) and did not play the following week at Utah (Oct. 18)...Played extensively at Air Force (Nov. 8) and posted a career-high eight stops (four solo).
