2010 (Junior): Played in one game...Opted to graduate early, forego his senior season and get an early start on his post-playing career...Earned academic all-conference following the season...Returned at full health after shoulder surgery robbed him of his 2009 season, and was an outside candidate for the starting role entering fall camp (the only QB on the roster that had taken a college snap), but sustained a groin injury midway through August...Closed out CSU's big win vs. UNLV (Oct. 16), his first action since Nov. 22, 2008, at Wyoming; converted a fourth down with a QB sneak.

2009 (Sophomore): Did not play...Aggravated a shoulder injury in fall camp, then underwent surgery prior to the TCU game (Oct. 17) and missed the season.

2008 (Freshman): The Rams' backup QB entering the season, beat out three teammates for that role in fall camp...Played in three games...Completed 19 of 37 passes (51.4 percent) for 252 yards, with no touchdowns and two INTs...Made his college debut, playing the entire fourth quarter of CSU's loss at Cal (Sept. 27); completed six of his first seven passes, including the first attempt of his career, a 63-yard bomb to a streaking Rashaun Greer down the right sideline...Later in Cal contest, engineered a seven-play, 60-yard TD drive for the Rams' only points...Saw action vs. TCU (Oct. 11), entering with 6 minutes left in the third quarter and playing the balance of the game, trying to give the Rams a spark in an eventual 13-7 loss; against the nation's No. 1 defense, had six drives, one that started on his own 2-yard line in the fourth quarter...Also quarterbacked two first-half series in win at Wyoming (Nov. 22)...Following Cowboys contest, underwent shoulder surgery that sidelined him for the New Mexico Bowl.

2007: Redshirted in his first season of college eligibility.

High School: Helped lead Regis Jesuit High School (Aurora, Colo.) to a Continental League championship in 2005...Received second-team all-conference and all-state honorable mention honors in 2006...Also given best skill position player and quarterback awards for Regis football...Played quarterback, linebacker and tight end, and held for placements on special teams...A three-sport athlete at Regis, also lettered in baseball (catcher) and basketball (forward)...Member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars...Named to the highest honor roll four years in a row...Received the Humanitarian and Leadership awards at Regis...High school football coach was Mike Wolford.
