Career Division I games played/started: 47/6 (14/0 in 2013...12/1 in 2012...12/5 in 2011...9/0 in 2010).

2013 (Senior): Played in all 14 games for the Rams with most of his playing time coming on several special teams units...also rushed five times for 34 yards.

  • At New Mexico (Nov. 16) ran the ball one time for five yards on a key third-down rush for a first down
  • On Senior Day vs. Air Force (Nov. 30) ran the ball four times for 29 yards, including a long rush of 13 yards
  • Key member of the Rams' kick return unit that averaged 23.8 yards per return, a figure that ranked 18th nationally and second in the Mountain West
  • Named team captain prior to game at Utah State (Nov. 23)

2012 (Junior): Demonstrated versatility in spring, being used as a wide receiver, tight end, and running back...ran the ball 33 times for 76 yards and a TD in 12 games...his smash-mouth running technique provided a nice balance with the speed of Chris Nwoke and Donnell Alexander.

  • In the Rams' season-opening win against Colorado (Sept. 1), ran the ball 11 times for 21 yards...his first career carry came in Colorado State's end zone as he rushed for two yards, slowly moving the Rams out of their own territory
  • Recorded one reception in the home-opening loss to North Dakota State (Sept. 8)
  • Logged a career-high 27 yards rushing on four carries including a career-long of 10 yards at Air Force (Sept. 29)
  • On the road at Wyoming (Nov. 3) scored his first career rushing touchdown and tied a career-long rush of 10 yards

2011 (Sophomore): A sure-handed, athletic target, played in all 12 games, with five starts...Had at least one catch over the season's first 10 games, and finished with a grab in 11 of 12 contests...Caught a pass on the season's first offensive snap, at New Mexico (Sept. 3), and went on to record a team-high seven receptions in an important CSU win, after entering the season with just one career grab...Also in Lobos contest, converted a pair of third-downs with timely catches, including a 7-yard catch to the UNM 3-yard line, setting up Chris Nwoke's game-winning go-ahead TD; on his final catch, late in the game, alertly downed himself inbounds to keep the clock running...In Denver loss vs. Colorado (Sept. 17), started again as a slot receiver, and threw a key block to spring Chris Nwoke on a 5-yard run on third-and-1, setting up a TD that cut the Buffs' lead to 21-14...Started again as a slot receiver in exhilarating win at Utah State (Sept. 24), and recorded several key blocks, including a third-and-1 conversion in the opening quarter; also converted a third-and-3 with a 6-yard reception on a second-quarter FG drive that put CSU on the board...In second quarter of loss vs. No. 5 Boise State (Oct. 15), snuck into the flat and was wide-open to register his first career TD reception, a 27-yard pass from TE Crockett Gillmore, who'd caught a lateral...Late in loss at UTEP (Oct. 22), converted a fourth down with a clutch reception...In loss vs. Air Force (Nov. 26), saw his 10-game reception streak end...In season finale vs. Wyoming (Dec. 3), picked up 23 yards on a first-quarter screen.

2010 (Freshman): A reserve fullback, tight end and occasional wide receiver, played in nine games, primarily on special teams, but saw reserve action on offense late in the year...Caught one pass on the year, for 2 yards...In season-opening loss to Colorado (Sept. 4) at Invesco Field, made his college debut, playing on special teams...Played on offense at Nevada (Sept. 11)...Returned to action in 38-14 win vs. New Mexico (Oct. 30), playing on special teams and seeing fourth-quarter action at tight end...In first quarter of loss vs. BYU (Nov. 13), made his first career reception.

2009: Redshirted as a true freshman in his first season of college eligibility.

High School: As a senior, made 78 catches for 1,004 yards...Also added 107 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns as the Golden Eagles finished 9-2, reaching the second round of the state playoffs...Named to the Kansas Football Coaches all-state team...Called by the Wichita Eagle one of the top 33 players in all of Kansas...Ranked by Rivals.com as the 12th-best senior prospect in Kansas...Caught nine passes for 131 yards in a 26-19 win over Salina Central in the first round of the playoffs...Head coach was Alan Shuckman...Selected to play in Kansas Shrine Bowl...As a junior, totaled 782 receiving yards and 269 yards rushing, helping the team to an 11-2 record and a state runner-up finish...Earned all-state honors as a junior...Was a first-team Greater Wichita all-city selection in both his junior and senior years, and honorable mention as a sophomore...Ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds, squatted 465 pounds and had a 35-inch vertical leap...A 2008-09 McDonald's Preseason All-American in basketball, led BCHS to the state finals as a junior, when he was a first-team all-state selection as a point guard...Also received interest from Missouri, Kansas State and Louisville.
