Career Division I games played/started: 43/2 (12/1 in 2015..10/1 in 2014..11/0 in 2013...10/0 in 2012).
2015 (Senior): Played in all 12 games (1 start) and made 29 tackles (17 solo), including one tackle for loss...added an interception, a fumble recovery and one pass breakup.
- Made five tackles (2 solo) in win at Wyoming (11/7)
- Recorded first career interception as well as a career-best six tackles (five solo) including one tackle for loss against Boise State (10/10)
- Posted a total of three tackles against Colorado (9/19)
- Recorded first career fumble recovery against Minnesota (9/12)
2014 (Junior): Played in 10 games, recording 15 tackles (11 solo), and one QBH... most of his action came on several special teams units...recorded a season-high four tackles vs. Tulsa (Nov. 4).
2013 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games, mostly on special teams...recorded 13 tackles (9 solo) and one pass breakup...key player on several Colorado State special teams units and used as a safety.
- Registered a career-high five tackles (3 solo) vs. UTEP (Sept. 28) and his lone pass breakup
- 11 of his 13 tackles came on special teams
2012 (Freshman): Played in 10 games for Colorado State recording 10 tackles.
High School: A two-year starter as a key defender at Ventura High School north of Los Angeles, intercepted 10 career passes, playing outside linebacker as a junior and free safety as a senior; also punted for two years...Put defensive points on the board on five occasions, touchdowns on two interceptions and one fumble, and a pair of safeties...Picked off seven of those passes during that 2011 senior campaign, helping the 11-1 Cougars capture a Channel League championship and go undefeated through the regular season, before a loss in the second round of the CIF Southern Section/Western Division playoffs...Earned 2011 Channel League Defensive Player of the Year, all-CIF and first-team all-county recognition, with 120 tackles (68 solo), 14 passes broken up, three forced fumbles and one recovery, in addition to his county-leading seven INTs...A team captain, scored four times on defense in 2011, with interception touchdowns of 70 and 90 yards, and two safeties...Established the Cougars’ single-season record with 321 interception-return yards...Played closer to the line of scrimmage as a 2010 junior, recording 72 tackles, three interceptions, eight PBUs, one forced fumble and two recoveries, one of which he returned 17 yards for a TD...A three-year letterman, got his first significant varsity playing time as a sophomore, late in the season as the Cougars advanced to the CIF playoffs...Head football coach was Brad Steward...Also lettered two years in track, running the 100 and 4x100 meters...Top speed in the 40-yard dash was 4.45...Max bench press was 255...Owned a 3.5 GPA at the time of his signing...Following the season, invited to the prestigious 2012 Polynesian All-American Bowl in Los Angeles.
