On Wednesday, CSU hosted its annual Pro Day in front of 35 scouts representing all 32 NFL teams.
Career Division I games played/started: 46/0 (14/0 in 2013...12/0 in 2012...12/0 in 2011...8/0 in 2010).
CSU's primary long-snapper for punts and placements since Game 5 of his 2010 freshman season, when he replaced an injured Scott Albritton...did not have an errant snap in all four years of service for the Rams...snapped reliably for No. 2 all-time punter at CSU, Pete Kontodiakos (43.8)--who recorded best single-season average in school history (46.5) in 2012--and the most accurate field-goal kicker in school history, Jared Roberts (.882; 30-34 through 2013)...capped career with invitation to play in the inaugural Medal of Honor Bowl at the Citadel in Charleston, S.C., on Jan. 11, 2014...honored in April 2014 with selection to the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Honor Society, comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career.
2013 (Senior): Played in all 14 games for the Rams and completed his career without registering an errant snap in four years of action...recorded one tackle on the season.
- Chosen to serve as a game captain at Alabama (9/21).
- Capped career with perfect snapping performance in New Mexico Bowl win over Washington State (12/21), including on game-winning 41-yard field goal by Jared Roberts as time expired in regulation.
- Played in the inaugural Medal of Honor Bowl, a college all-star game played at the Citadel in Charleston, S.C.
2012 (Junior): Played in all 12 games for the Rams and has not recorded a bad snap in his three-year career...registered two tackles on the season.
- In a home defeat to Utah State (Sept. 22), recorded an assisted tackle with Aaron Davis to keep the Aggies inside their own territory
- Before taking the bus ride south to Colorado Springs for a showdown against Air Force (Sept. 29), was named a weekly team captain
- Against Fresno State (Oct. 6), brought down Bulldogs punt returner Rashad Evans, pinning Fresno State inside their own 20-yardline.
2011 (Sophomore): CSU's primary long-snapper for punts and placements since Game 5 of his 2010 freshman season, when he replaced an injured Scott Albritton, played in all 12 games...Life-saving in CSU's exhilarating 35-34 win at Utah State (Sept. 24), recovered not one but two muffed punts, one late in the fourth quarter; with the Rams trailing 21-13 and only 2:06 left in regulation, pounced on an Eric Moats muff at the USU 15, setting up a game-tying TD and two-point conversion in the final minute that sent the game to overtime...Earlier, recovered another muffed punt to give CSU possession at the USU 35, and made a tackle on a previous punt...Earned MW Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his efforts against Aggies...In loss at UTEP (Oct. 22), sustained a leg injury covering a punt late in the third quarter, but returned to snap the balance of the game...Earned academic all-conference honors following the season.
2010 (Freshman): Pressed into service by the season-ending Week 5 knee injury to Scott Albritton, played in eight games, handling every snap over the final 75 percent of the season...Did not record a tackle...Made his college debut in loss vs. No. 5 TCU (Oct. 2), snapping for a punt late in the first half and the entire second half...Earned academic all-conference following the season.
2009: After enrolling at CSU in January, redshirted as a true freshman in his first season of college eligibility.
High School: A first-team all-Front Range League selection at Fort Collins High School as a 2007 senior, was one of the top linebackers in the state of Colorado....A team captain, was named defensive MVP while leading the Lambkins to the playoffs...A four-year varsity letterwinner, was on two Lambkins conference championship teams and helped FCHS make the playoffs all four years of high school, advancing to the state semifinals two times...An academic all-conference selection, was honored as the best player of his class every season...Head coach was Eric Rice...Was a teammate of former CSU players Matt Yemm, Scott Zick and Zach Donaldson.
