A second-team all-MWC choice, the summer signee played in 11 games (the Rams didn't punt in Game 2 or Game 11), including the New Mexico Bowl (Dec. 20)...Led the Mountain West and ranked 10th in the nation with a 44.1-yard gross average, the fifth-best single-season mark in CSU annals...Placed 12 of his 44 punts (27.3 percent) inside the 20, had 10 of 50-or-more yards, and had two blocked...Made his Division I debut in season opener, vs. Colorado (Aug. 31), placing one of his punts out of bounds at the CU 7-yard line...Finally punted (CSU's first in eight quarters) in the second half of victory vs. Houston (Sept. 20)...Over a three-punt stretch, saw two blocks, his last punt of the Cougars contest, and his second boot at Cal (Sept. 27), which was returned 30 yards for the first Bears points...Statistically, enjoyed a decent day at Cal, averaging 47.2 yards on six punts (including a pair of 60-yarders), with one inside the 20, but one of his punts was returned 73 yards for a third-quarter touchdown, and a first-half punt was blocked for another Cal TD...In conference-opening win vs. UNLV (Oct. 4), averaged 50.3 yards on three punts, with two inside the 20...At No. 14 Utah (Oct. 18), established a season-long with a 61-yard punt...Late in tough, 45-42 loss vs. No. 17 BYU (Nov. 1), cornered a fourth-quarter punt out of bounds at the Cougars 11-yard line; CSU recovered a fumble three plays later, and scored a go-ahead TD by using a short field on its ensuing possession...Joined the Rams as a junior-college transfer and became the team's punter in late August after Jason Smith broke his arm in a practice.

Called by professional instructor Chris Sailer one of the best punters in the nation in the class of 2008...Named second-team all-conference in 2006 and first-team all-conference in 2007...As a sophomore, led the Western State Conference with an average 38.9 yards on 53 punts...Set the SBCC school record with an 81-yard punt against Bakersfield in 2006...Named to President's Honor Roll in 2007...At SBCC, was a teammate of his current long snapper, Scott Albritton.
