12/03/2011 Postgame Notes: Wyoming vs. Colorado StateDec. 3, 2011 12/03/2011 Postgame Notes: Wyoming vs. Colorado StateDec. 3, 2011 11/26/2011 Colorado State Postgame NotesAir Force at Colorado State; Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium 11/12/2011 Postgame notesCSU vs. San Diego State 10/22/2011 Colorado State at UTEP Post Game Notes2011 (Junior): After shifting from linebacker to fullback on Aug. 18, little more than two weeks before the opener, played in the first two games, with one start, but sustained a season-ending knee injury in Week 2...Wound up with one reception for 4 yards...Coaches saw enough in him over his first few practices to dub him the starting fullback entering the opener at New Mexico (Sept. 3)...Made his offensive debut in Lobos contest, entering the game on the second play; caught his first career pass, in the third quarter...A week later vs. Northern Colorado (Sept. 10), made his first major-college start, in the CSU backfield, but on the Rams' first offensive play, a 31-yard Raymond Carter run that set up a quick TD, sustained a knee injury and did not return...In Denver loss vs. Colorado (Sept. 17), his first game out of action, was the first player to congratulate his brother after a key, 34-yard reception that set up a first-quarter TD. 2010 (Sophomore): A January transfer from Division II West Texas A&M, earned playing time for CSU during spring practice and played in seven games...Had four total stops (three solo), with one tackle for loss...Made his CSU debut in season-opener vs. Colorado (Sept. 4) at Invesco Field, on special teams...Battled injury but worked his way back into the special-teams coverage units and returned to action in win vs. UNLV (Oct. 16)...At No. 9 Utah (Oct. 23), saw fourth-quarter action at linebacker...Saw extensive snaps at SDSU (Nov. 6). Junior College: Did not play in two seasons, including a redshirt year, at Division II West Texas A&M of the Lone Star Conference...Tranferred to Colorado State to enroll in January 2010 and practiced the entire spring with the Rams. High School: A three-sport athlete at Bushland High School in Bushland, Texas, lettered in football (1), basketball (2) and track (4)...Teammates were fellow Rams Weston Richburg and Crockett Gillmore, his brother...High school football coach was David Flowers.
