Jason Gallimore enters his second season working as a graduate assistant with the Colorado State football team.

Gallimore, 30, works with the defensive coaches. His duties include working with the defensive scout team and assisting with the linebackers, recruiting and other tasks.

A graduate of Wheat Ridge (Colo.) High School, Gallimore, won two state championships and was named all-state as a prep football player.

After initially playing football at Northern Colorado, Jason and his twin brother, Justin, walked on at CSU. A free safety, Jason played on three bowl teams and won two MWC championships during his career at Colorado State, earning all-conference honors as a senior.

Following his career at CSU, he attended training camp with the Arena Football League's Colorado Crush.

Born Sept. 17, 1978, in Denver, Colo., Gallimore is single and makes his home in Loveland, Colo. He has a bachelor's degree in speech communication and a master's in computer information systems from Colorado State, and is working toward a master's in education.
