2007 (Senior): Started all 12 games in the humble role of nose tackle, notching 45 tackles (21 solo), 4½ tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles...Garnered honorable mention all-conference honors...Despite his lack of size, did everything no one else wanted to do; ate up multiple blockers on double teams and handled all the grunt work in the trenches...Was among conference leaders at his position in solo tackles (21) and forced fumbles (two), and also averaged 0.17 fumble recoveries per game, tied for sixth in the Mountain West...Contributed a fumble recovery to set up a CSU touchdown, and forced another fumble, in a pair of respective CSU wins...At TCU (Sept. 29), set a career-best with four solo stops, among six overall tackles...Against San Diego State (Oct. 6), had another three solo stops, two of which were behind the line of scrimmage; on one of those plays, threw the Aztecs for a loss on first-and-goal from the CSU 7-yard line and SDSU eventually settled for a FG...Piled up a career-best 10 tackles (two solo) vs. Air Force (Oct. 13)...Helped protect a second-half lead in eventual, emotional first win at UNLV (Oct. 20), notching his first sack since 2006...At New Mexico (Nov. 10) in the fourth quarter, forced a Rodney Ferguson fumble that was recovered by Blake Smith to set up the game-tying field goal; on the Lobos' next drive, combined with Tommie Hill to drop Paul Baker for a 1-yard loss, helping to force an eventual punt in a 23-23 game (UNM would kick a heart-wrenching walk-off field goal)...Prior to win vs. Georgia Southern (Nov. 17), shocked teammates by shaving his trademark hair, then matched his single-game career best with four solo tackles, among eight total stops, one tackle for loss and an all-important fumble recovery; donated his hair to Locks of Love, an organization that produces wigs for kids who've lost their hair due to medical conditions...In final college game, vs. Wyoming (Nov. 23), had two important pressures; forced an incompletion with his third-quarter hurry of QB Karsten Sween, then late in the game, combined with Tommie Hill to pressure Sween on the Cowboys' next-to-last snap, another incompletion. 2006 (Junior): Started at defensive end in 10 of the 11 games he played in 2006...Sat out game vs. Wyoming due to injury...Had three unassisted tackles and a career-best six total stops vs. TCU...Made two total tackles vs. Utah...Saw playing time vs. New Mexico...Had one sack vs. Nevada...Made three tackles, including one for loss, against Colorado...Had three tackles, including one sack, against Weber State. 2005 (Sophomore): Started the Poinsettia Bowl vs. Navy and was credited with four tackles, three unassisted...Finished the season with 23 tackles, five for loss...Blocked three kicks...had three stops, including a tackle behind the line at New Mexico...Made his first career start and posted a career-best six stops and two tackles for loss at BYU...Recorded two tackles against Utah...Made three stops, including one tackle for loss, against Nevada...Blocked an extra point attempt at Minnesota. 2004 (Freshman): Made four stops at Air Force...Had one sack at Utah...Came off the bench to make one stop against Minnesota...Saw first career action, at Southern Cal, and had two tackles, including one for a loss of 5 yards. 2003: Redshirted.
