Has been used sparingly towards the end of the season on special teams, appearing in four contests.

  • Made his collegiate debut vs. Boise State (Nov. 2)

2012: Redshirted as a true freshman in his first season of college eligibility.

High School: Patrolled the secondary as a three-year starter at Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas...Racked up seven career interceptions and helped the Cougars to three straight berths in the regional round of the Texas postseason...As a senior, garnered first-team all-Big Country (Abilene Reporter-News), first-team all-District 4 and honorable-mention all-state accolades as the top DB on a team that went 9-4 and lost in the regional round of the Region I Texas playoffs...Posted 103 tackles and two forced fumbles in 2011, and picked off two passes, one of which he returned 38 yards for a TD...Also as a senior, returned a kickoff 100 yards for another score...As a junior, with CSU teammate Davon Riddick in the CHS offensive backfield, helped the 11-2 Cougars to a tie for the district crown, intercepting four passes with 81 tackles...As a first-year starter in 2009, helped CHS to a district championship and 10-4 record, registering one interception...Also lettered four years in track, specializing in the sprint and 4x200 relays...Head football coaches were Todd Moebs and Mike Spradlin...Top prep speed in the 40-yard dash was 4.5 seconds.
