CSU men's basketball to host Ram Club scrimmage Wednesday
Oct. 25, 2010
By Danny Mattie FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Ram Club and Colorado State men’s basketball are showing their appreciation to CSU’s loyal donors by hosting an exclusive scrimmage for Ram Club members Wednesday night at Moby Arena. The Ram Club community has been invited to join Head Coach Tim Miles for a sneak peak of the 2010-11 CSU men’s basketball team, which has been dubbed a “team on the rise” by ESPN.com’s Andy Katz. The event, which begins at 5:30 p.m., will give fans the opportunity to sit in on the final 30 minutes of the Rams’ regularly scheduled practice. The players will then be split into two squads and showcase their skills for the Ram Club members in a scrimmage, giving CSU’s valued boosters and insiders a glimpse into what they can expect in the highly anticipated season. Concessions stands will be open throughout the evening, and fans are encouraged to stick around for the post-practice event where they will be able to enjoy free Wendy’s Frosties, while supplies last, and have the opportunity to meet their favorite players and Miles. Ram Club members should RSVP to the event by contacting the Ram Club office at 970/491-4666, or via e-mail at ramclub@colostate.edu.
