Sept. 18, 2012
FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The first official practice date for the 2012-13 men's basketball season, one of the most anticipated campaigns in program history, is less than one month away, and the Rams have issued an invitation to any CSU students that want to contribute to the team's success as members of the squad.
Tuesday, the CSU men's basketball team announced that they will be holding walk-on tryouts later this month, and are urging any interested, full-time students to get the requisite physicals and proper paper work turned in as soon as possible to be eligible for the tryouts.
CSU students interested in trying out should contact men's basketball video coordinator Sam Waniewski - via phone (530-867-4823) or e-mail (Sam.Waniewski@colostate.edu) - to ensure that all proper paperwork is turned in on time.
It is critical that interested students have physicals completed by Friday, Sept. 21 in order to be cleared to participate in the tryout date, Sept. 26th from 9-10 p.m.
