Payment Plan Order Form | Season-Ticket Information | 2010-11 Schedule By Danny Mattie FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- In an effort to make paying for season tickets easier for fans in today’s economy, CSU, for the first time in men’s basketball, is offering a special payment plan for fans that purchase season tickets before Sept. 13. The option to pay for tickets in installments, a program that proved helpful to fans of CSU football in each of the past two seasons, will be offered for the first time to the Moby Arena faithful as the CSU Rams men’s basketball team gears up for the 2010-11 season. The new bi-monthly payment option allows fans the flexibility to make one payment on the date of the purchase, with the balance charged to their account on Oct. 15, just in time for the Rams to tip off their exhibition schedule In early November. In addition to the payment plan option, those fans that purchase tickets early will be given priority when the CSU ticket office designates seating location for all season-ticket holders beginning after the Oct. 1 renewal deadline for 2009-10 season-ticket holders. As always, top priority will be given to Ram Club members. Current season-ticket holders that wish to renew for the 2010-11 season may also participate in the bi-monthly payment plan by returning the “Payment Plan” form that was mailed along with their season-ticket renewal package. Fans can also renew season tickets online at CSURams.com, but online renewals are not eligible for the bi-monthly payment plan. Season-ticket prices, for the fourth consecutive season, start at just $185 for adults. Faculty and staff can purchase season tickets for as low as $150 and youth (3-17) packages are $90.
Colorado State is poised for a breakout season under fourth-year Head Coach Tim Miles. Coming off of the program’s first postseason berth in seven years, the Rams return a strong core of players, including all-district and all-MWC selection Andy Ogide. Ogide and the Rams posted a 16-16 mark in 2009-10, finishing tied for fifth in one of the strongest Mountain West races since the formation of the conference. Each of the four teams – BYU, New Mexico, San Diego State and UNLV - that finished ahead of CSU played in the NCAA tournament, and CSU enters 2010-11 looking to make a push to move into that top tier. The Rams’ 2010-11 schedule has 15 home dates, including a battle against former WAC and future MWC rival Fresno State (Dec. 4). The Rams will also play host to in-state foe Northern Colorado (Dec. 20), and take on the Drake Bulldogs (Dec. 1) as part of the second annual Mountain West/Missouri Valley Challenge. Other non-conference home dates include Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 13) and Sam Houston State (Nov. 27). The Mountain West Conference schedule begins Jan. 4 with the “Border War” against rival Wyoming. CSU then hosts TCU (Jan. 15) before beginning a stretch of five-out-of six home games against NCAA participants - BYU (Jan. 22), San Diego State (Feb. 2), New Mexico (Feb. 12) and UNLV (Feb. 19). Front Range rival Air Force visits Moby Jan. 26, and the Rams close out their home schedule in 2010-11 against the Utah Utes, March 2. |
