FORT COLLINS, Colo.— The Colorado State men’s basketball team will take part in a watch party on Sunday, March 17, for the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament selection show.
The event will take place at Rio Grande Mexico Restaurant in Old Town Fort Collins (143 W. Mountain Ave.) from 3-6 p.m. (MT), in the Agave Room. The selection show will be broadcast on CBS beginning at 4 p.m.
The public is invited to join the team as they await the announcement of an expected invitation to the 2013 NCAA tournament. There will be a cash bar with food and beverage specials. Space is limited, but Rams fans are encouraged to come out and share the experience with the team.
The Rams (25-7) play in the semifinals of the Mountain West men’s basketball tournament tonight at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, facing UNLV at 9:35 p.m. MT (CBS Sports Network). The Mountain West championship game is scheduled for 4 p.m. (MT) tomorrow (CBS).
