FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Fans are invited to cheer on the CSU men's basketball team to victory Thursday afternoon at Fort Collins' local favorite, C.B. & Potts.
The Rams are headed to Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2011 Conoco Mountain West Conference tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center. No. 4-seeded CSU will take on No. 5-seeded New Mexico on Thursday afternoon. The Rams and the Lobos tip at 3:30 p.m. MT and the game will be broadcast on both The Mtn. and CBS College Sports.
Rams fans that choose to cheer on the team at Potts will not only be supporting the team as fans, but as donors as well. Potts will be donating 10 percent of all food and drink sales during the watch party to CSU's Athletic General Scholarship Fund. The special will occur between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Potts offers a fun and exciting atmosphere to watch the game, and is conveniently located very close to campus. Always a strong supporter of CSU athletics, the restaurant features CSU memorabilia, including the old scoreboard and goalposts from Colorado Field, which was the home of Rams football prior to the opening of Hughes Stadium.
