FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State men’s basketball team will pay tribute to the progam’s rich history and tradition during Saturday’s “Border War” against rival Wyoming.
The Rams will unveil special tribute jerseys featuring the team’s original colors of pumpkin and alfalfa, and emblazoned with “Aggies,” the university’s original mascot, across the chest.

The uniforms are part of a promotional event that will feature giveaways of 1,000 orange “Defend the Fort” cheer foam noodles for students. In addition, Orange Crush is giving away 1,000 cans of soda and koozies to fans as they leave Moby Arena following the game.

Notes for fans arriving Saturday
Doors will open 30 minutes earlier than normal, at 5:30 p.m., and fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear orange for the game, which tips at 7 p.m. MT, and will air live on The Mtn.

With large crowds expected for one of the region’s biggest rivalry games, an additional “students only” entrance has been added at the northeast door of the north Moby concourse.

To avoid standing in long lines, fans may also utilize CSURams.com to purchase tickets ahead of time, and are encouraged to take advantage of the print-at-home option, which is new for the 2009-10 season.

Ram Legends weekend
Saturday also marks CSU’s second annual Ram Legends weekend, in which the program welcomes back all former players.  Last year’s event, specifically honoring the 1989 team, drew more than 50 former student-athletes from all eras to Moby Arena. They will be recognized in a ceremony at halftime.

Kids Day
All Saturday games are Jason’s Deli Kids Days, and children’s tickets are just $4.  Kids are also invited to shoot on the court following the game.
