CSU athletics announces special "Final 5" men's basketball pricing
Jan. 17, 2012
By Danny Mattie FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With the CSU men’s basketball team riding a seven-game winning streak into Tuesday night’s home contest against the Boise State Broncos, new Director of Athletics Jack Graham announced Tuesday afternoon a special ticket package available for the Rams’ five remaining home games. The “Final 5” package, which goes on sale Wednesday morning for just $40, will offer fans the opportunity to buy a ticket package for the Rams’ remaining home schedule of five nationally televised games. The package features a pair of ranked games – vs. No. 16/16 San Diego State (Jan. 28) and No. 14/20 UNLV (Feb. 29) – two contests against rivals Air Force (Feb. 4) and Wyoming (Feb. 18), and the Rams’ showdown with Mountain West preseason favorite New Mexico (Feb. 21), which is receiving votes in both national polls. “Final 5” seats are reserved in Section B, H and L. The $40 price does not include a $7 will-call fee per order. There are no fees for in-person purchases. Fans can purchase the “Final 5” package in person at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday), over the phone at 800/491-RAMS, or online at CSURams.com by using the promo code: FINAL5. The Rams are 7-1 at Moby Arena this season, and are off to the program’s best start under fifth-year Head Coach Tim Miles, who has CSU headed toward a third-consecutive postseason berth – a feat accomplished only twice before in the program’s 108-year history. The Rams’ current seven-game win streak is the longest since a nine-game stretch early in the 2006-07 season.
