-          Game Notables:

o  Senior G Dorian Green, who suffered a mild concussion late in the Rams’ victory over Montana on Nov. 9, started for the 98th consecutive time in his career at Colorado State.  Head Coach Larry Eustachy immediately called a timeout after Colton Iverson CSU secured the opening tip, and Green was replaced by sophomore G Jon Octeus.

o   Colorado State opened the game on a 10-0 run and led 21-2 at the midway point of the first half after a free-throw from freshman G Joe De Ciman.

o   Chadron State made their second field-goal of the game on a Zac Bargen layup at the 7:35 mark. CSU led 29-5 following the basket.

o   Colorado State held a 43-13 lead at halftime.

o   The 13 points allowed by Colorado State in the opening stanza were the lowest in a first half since the Rams gave up just 13 points in a victory over Mayville State in November 2009. 

o   Colorado State’s victory extends the Rams’ homecourt winning streak to 15 straight games, establishing a program record at Moby Arena. 

o   The 15-game home win streak also ties for the second-longest home win streak all-time in the program’s history, originally set during from 1954-55. CSU’s all-time longest home winning streak is 22 games set from 1960-62 when the Rams called South College Gym home. 

o   Colorado State posted huge advantages in a number of categories, including 52-18 in the paint, 21-9 off turnovers, 25-11 on second-chance points, 14-2 on the break and an impressive 48-26 off the bench.

o   11 different players saw action in the game for the Rams, including the debuts the debut of sophomore walk-on Josh Morgan, who knocked down a pair of late jumpers for his first-career points at Colorado State.

o   The Rams’ 43-point victory marks the largest margin of victory since defeating Dominican (Calif.), 94-50, in the second round of the University of San Francisco Hilltop Challenge on Dec. 30, 2010.
