Four-year letterman in basketball...Also competed in track and football at Stafford High School...Earned all-state and all-region honors...Was nominated as a McDonald's All-American candidate...Selected as team's MVP senior year...Holds the all-time scoring record at Stafford High School...As a senior, scored 21 points per game, while also collecting 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists...Averaged 18 points, four rebounds and three steals a game during his junior season...Played for the Houston Hurricanes AAU team.
