Ryan redshirted in his first year with the Colorado State basketball program.

HIGH SCHOOL

Brown earned three varsity letter awards and was a three-year starter at Pleasant Grove High School for coach Craig Collins. He was named all-area and second team all-region as a senior and was a three-time all-conference selection. Twice he was named district MVP following his junior and senior seasons.

PERSONAL

Ryan is the son of Randy and Rebecca Brown. He has one older brother (Brannon) and one older sister (Jessica). Both of his parents are graduates of Louisiana College.

Ryan lists his hobbies as golfing and hunting and his favorite food as steak.
