An essential pillar to the mission and advancement of Colorado State University is its campus-wide commitment to embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment for all members of our community. The Department of Athletics at CSU is equally committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive atmosphere in order to enhance the qualitative experiences and holistic development for our student-athletes and our entire staff. Through intentional efforts, we seek to acknowledge and affirm the strengths of diversity - race and ethnicity, most certainly, yet also diversity of gender, culture, and perspectives that elevate a consciousness and our collective ability to serve the needs of our diverse populations. As the flagship, land-grant institution in the state of Colorado, CSU Athletics takes great pride in serving as a highly visible and engaging arm of the institution that seeks to connect with and unite our local and surrounding communities.
I would like to personally invite you to take the time to explore the many efforts and initiatives that CSU Athletics is embarking upon to promote diversity and inclusion. As you explore this site, I encourage you to think of ways in which the Office of Diversity in the Department of Athletics can serve you and your community and, quite possibly, ways in which you can collaborate with us to ensure our institution's land-grant mission.
