NEW ORLEANS, La. – CSU’s Nicole Peters and Ellie Keyser have earned all-region honors for their effort in Saturday’s Mountain Regional, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday.

Peters (21 minutes, 30.5 seconds) and Keyser (21:48.6) helped lead the women to a fifth-place finish out of 19 teams in the 6K race Saturday in Provo, Utah. Peters placed 15th, and Keyser finished 24th overall. The USTFCCA honors those that finish in the top 25 individually at each of the regional sites with all-region accolades.

In the Mountain West, only two other women’s teams received individual all-region honors, co-region champion New Mexico, which placed five on the list, and TCU, which had one.
