FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The CSU men's cross country team entered Week No. 6 ranked 23rd in the United State Track & Field Cross Country Association's Division I National Cross Country Coaches' Poll.

The top three finishers from last week's MW championships are all ranked this week. New Mexico, which took home the title, fell two spots to No. 11 and third-place finisher Air Force is tied for No. 29 with Washington.

Currently both the Rams' men's and women's teams are ranked sixth in the Mountain region.  There are seven men's teams in the region that appear in the top 30 poll. The third place finish for the women's team propelled it four spots up the rankings from last week's poll.

Despite falling to New Mexico, the Colorado State men's team finished runners up at the MW championships on Friday. The second-place finish is the highest for the men since 2005.

Both the men's and women's teams are off this week, and will travel to Utah for the NCAA Mountain Regional on Nov. 15.
