Next Up: The Colorado State University Rams will host the Mountain West Conference Championship meet Saturday, at Collindale Golf Course. The men's 8,000-meter race will begin at 10 a.m. and the women's 6,000-meter race will start at 11 a.m.

Rams Picked Second, Third: The Colorado State women's cross country has been picked to finish second at the Mountain West Conference Championship, according to the league's head coaches, while the men's team was chosen third. The women received one first-place vote and 56 points to finish behind perennial favorite BYU, which received the other eight first-place votes and 64 points. In the national rankings, the BYU women are sixth, while the Rams are ranked 20th. In the men's poll, BYU and Air Force were chosen co-favorites, each with three first-place nods and 23 points, while the Rams are third with 17 points.

National Rankings: On the men's side BYU is ranked 6th in the nation, and Air Force is ranked 28th. For the women BYU is the only nationally ranked team coming in at 8th place.

2004 Mountain West Conference Finishes: Last year the BYU Cougars took home both the men's and women's titles making it the sixth year in a row the women took home the championship. The CSU women took home 2nd place led by now Junior Danielle Korb. The men's team finished 4th place behind BYU, Air Force, and New Mexico, led by last year Senior Mike Nicks, and this year senior Josh Glaab.
