FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Rams cross country teams this weekend will travel to Wisconsin and Indiana to compete against some of the top-ranked schools in the U.S.

The women’s team will compete at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational on Friday, while the men’s team will compete at the Pre-Nationals on Sunday.

The invitational will take place at the Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wis. The competition will start at 12 p.m. MT.

The Rams can use this competition to show their hard work from practice during the past few weeks.

“This is a very competitive meet,” said Head Coach Bryan Berryhill. “There will be 19 of the top 30 nationally ranked teams there.”

Nicole Peters will help lead the women’s team in the invitational. After her last competition, she was named Mountain West Athlete of the Week.

The men’s team will compete at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. The race will start at 9 a.m. MT.

The Rams have used these last few weeks to get energized and prepared for this competition.

“The men are healthy,” said Berryhill. “This meet is going to be a good stepping stone for the rest of the season.”

The Rams look to finish in strong fashion following both teams’ good finish at the Roy Griak Invitational last month.
