FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Hannah Pensack-Rinehart has had a great season so far, she has scored in the top three positions at both races she has competed. The Mountain West rewarded her Tuesday by naming her the women’s cross country Athlete of the Week.
The Loveland native earned first-place honors at the UCCS Rust Buster Invitational and beat the old course record (14 minutes, 23.78 seconds) Saturday. This comes just one week after she received third place at the Wyoming Invitational.
This is the first time Pensack-Rinehart has received this honor.
The Rams compete next at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn., on Sept. 24.
