Cross country preview: Colorado State to head south for Rust Buster Invitational
Sept. 8, 2011
FORT COLLINS, Colo.—One week after winning the Wyoming Invitational, the men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., to compete in the Rust Buster Invitational on Saturday. The Rams face the challenge of competing two weeks in a row, leaving little time to recover from last week’s victory. The meet will take place at Monument Valley Park. The men’s team will compete first at 8:45 a.m., with the women’s team starting at approximately 9:30 a.m. The Rams hope to keep their success going with another victory Saturday. Nicole Peters and Spenser Lynass take their first-place finishes last week into this weekend’s Rust Buster Invitational. With their help, the CSU cross country team looks to win two in a row.
