CSU cross country honored as NCAA Division I All-Academic Team

Feb. 18, 2014

Fort Collins, Colo. – Once again, Colorado State’s men’s and women’s cross country teams were honored for their excellent work in the classroom during the 2013 season.

With 15 different athletes earning Academic All-Mountain West honors from the men’s and women’s cross country teams, the Rams were one of 146 programs to have both their men’s and women’s cross country teams be awarded as 2013 Division I Cross Country All-Academic Teams.

CSU earned All-Academic Team honors by compiling a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Both the men’s and women’s team earned cumulative GPAs of 3.45.

Colorado State was one of just four schools in the Mountain West, joining Boise State, Utah State and Wyoming, to have both programs earn All-Academic Team honors. In total, 231 unique programs were honored. For a full list, click here
