Lettered four times in cross country and track while attending Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colo. ...Was named all-conference in both cross country and track all four years...Was named track all-state in 2006...Was named a cross country high school All-American in 2004...Was named MVP for cross country all four years...Won the Front Range League 5A conference championship from 2003-06 and won the Colorado state track championship in 2006...Holds high school records in the mile (4:57), two miles (10:48), 4x800 meters (9:14), and 4x1 mile (21:06).

Born Oct. 4, 1987, to Bob and Amy Parry...Has older sisters Erika (25), and Adrienne (23), and younger brothers Tim and Ty (both 18)...Majoring in human development and family studies.
