FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State track and field program announced the signing of three more athletes to National Letters of Intent Wednesday.
Additions to the class of 2011 class are:
· Justin Green, Liberty Hill High School; Liberty Hill, Texas
· Icenia Anderson, James Irwin Charter High School; Colorado Springs, Colo.
· Andrew Goodman, Palmer High School; Colorado Springs, Colo.
Green, from Liberty Hill High School, is a four-year letterwinner in track and two-time letterwinner in basketball. He holds the school record in the high jump, with a mark of 6 feet, 7 inches. Green has finished third in the high jump at the regional meet twice and was named district champion in the event his junior year. He was also a regional qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles his junior year. Green was twice named first-team all-district in basketball his junior and senior seasons, and was a member of the district champion team his senior year. He was named to the honor roll his sophomore and junior years.

Anderson, a letterwinner in both track and field and soccer at James Irwin Charter High School, was a state qualifier in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash her junior year. Anderson is a USA Track and Field member and a Speed Track and Field athlete. She was an all-state nominee for soccer her junior season.

She managed to open the indoor season this year with a very good 60-meter dash. Goodman, a three-year all-state cross country athlete out of Palmer High School, led his high school cross country team to the state meet all four years. Goodman earned an eighth-place finish in the state cross country meet his freshman year followed by a pair of ninth-place finishes his junior and senior seasons. He was named to the all-Southwest regional team his junior and senior years. Goodman is a three-time state qualifier in the 1,600-meter run. In addition, he qualified for the state meet in the 800-meter run his sophomore and junior seasons, finishing eighth at the 2010 state meet. Currently holding a 4.58 grade-point average, Goodman was named first-team academic all-state cross country his junior and senior years.
"Andrew is one of the most versatile distance runners in the state of Colorado. He has shown that he can run great over distances ranging from the 800 to 3,000 meters on the track and the 5,000 meters in cross country. What really impresses me about Andrew is that he is a tremendous student and person as well.
