FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Hannah Pensack-Rinehart shattered the school record in the 10,000-meter run and the Colorado State track and field team had highlights across the board Saturday at three separate meets.

Pensack-Rinehart recorded a time of 33 minutes, 47.49 seconds late Friday night at the Stanford Invitational in Palo, Alto, Calif., breaking the school record previously held by Nicole Feest by 13 seconds.

"Hannah didn't just break our school record, she shattered it," said distance coach Bryan Berryhill. "That girl is just very poised. The word I would use to describe her is fearless. She went after it last night. She was racing some of the best pros and college runners in the nation and to go out there in your first ever real 10k at sea level and break a school record, for a school that has been very good at distance running, is pretty amazing. Hannah is a stud."

Two other Rams posted impressive times in the event. Nicole Peters clocked in at 35:01.6 and on the men's side of the event Daniel Wallis finished in 29:45.47.

At the Sun Angel Track Classic in Tempe, Ariz., Jake Schneeberger earned a second-place finish in the discus throw, with a toss of 156 feet, 7 inches.

Jessica Sharbono claimed second in the discus throw, with a distance of 168-3.

Trevor Brown was the runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking in at 13.91, a new personal record and the second-fastest time in school history. Brown later took seventh in the 400-meter hurdles, with a time of 52.05.

Meaghann Peak placed fifth in the triple jump, with a mark of 39-1.

Alec Pott took sixth in the hammer throw, with a mark of 184-06. Carson Rowley finished in ninth, throwing for a distance of 177-11. Pott also picked up a second-place finish in the shot put, with a toss of 53-0.

Alison Forrester (5-5) and Amy Medina (5-3) earned ninth- and tenth-place finishes, respectively, in the high jump.

Whitney Henderson claimed sixth in the 1,500-meter run, posting a time of 4:38.77.

Lindsey Keller placed 11th in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing in 14.37.

In the women's long jump Bethany DeLong earned an eighth-place finish, with a mark of 18-4.25. On the men's side of the event Jonathan Edmunds placed fourth, with a jump of 23-5.25
