Trevor Brown earned his second career MW Athlete of the Week Tuesday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State junior Trevor Brown earned his second career Mountain West Athlete of the Week award announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Brown, a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., finished second in the 60-meter hurdles at the Joe Davies Open in Golden, Colo. With a time of 7.86, second-best in the MW this season, just behind his conference record mark of 7.84 that Brown posted at the Air Force Team Challenge on Feb. 9.
The 7.86 mark ranks 28th nationally and is the third result for Brown under 7.90 seconds this season.
Brown has finished first or second in all five meets he’s competed in this season.
The Rams will travel to Boise, Idaho for the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships beginning on Feb. 21.
