Track & field recap: CSU kicks off split weekend in Washington

Friday's Results

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State track and field squad is off to a strong start in their split weekend with distance runners and hurdler Trevor Brown in Seattle, and the rest of the athletes competing at Air Force.

Day one of the Husky Classic in Washington allowed the Rams to shine just enough. Four distance runners competed on Friday in the 5000-meter run: Jacob Morgan, Christian Meyer, Ben Larson, and Jerrell Mock. With the highest finish, Morgan finished third in his section with a mark of 15 minutes, 0.23 seconds. Meyer placed seventh; Larson came in ninth with Mock in 15th.

Events will continue Saturday at the Husky Classic beginning at 10:00 a.m. Live results will be available at
