Rams add 13 to 2014-15 roster

CSU welcomes eight women, five men

Undefeated for four years in the PAC-12 Conference in cross country, Kara Steinke was awarded the Times Herald and Mercury Athlete of the Year for four consecutive years starting in 2010. She holds the school record in the 3,200-meter run and the 1,600 meters for Methacton and placed fourth at the PIAA Track & Field State Championships in the 3,200 meters in 2012.

Kara Steinke holds remarkable personal records for herself in distance running. Her best time in the 1600-meter run is in four minutes, 59.64 seconds. She also ran her fastest 3200m in 10:43.15 and a 5k in 17:56.

"Kara will be an immediate impact runner on our cross country team next year, as she has performed as one of the top high school runners in the Northeast," Coach Siemers commented.
