A four-year letter winner in track and two-year letter winner in basketball at Liberty Hill High School in Liberty Hill, Tex...Was the 2011 high jump state champion in class 3A...Also a district champion in the long jump during his senior season...Qualified for regionals in the long jump, triple jump, 110-meter hurdles and high jump in 2011...Holds school records in the high jump (6' 7"), 110-meter hurdles (14.67 seconds) and long jump (21' 10"). Named academic all-district and all-state in both track and basketball his senior year after maintaining a grade-point-average of 3.90.
