2012 MW Track & Field Championships

2011 (Sophomore): Took 13th in the shot put at the MW indoor championships (Feb. 26)...Set a personal record in the discus throw at the Mesa Classic (April 8), with a toss of 148 feet...Placed sixth in the hammer throw at the Front Range championships (May 1)...Earned a tenth-place finish in the hammer throw at the MW outdoor championships (May 14), with a toss of 166-1.

2010 (Freshman): Won the shot put at the Potts Invite (Jan. 23), with a distance of 15.58 meters...Scored at the Colorado State-Pueblo Invitational by placing fifth in the shot put with a distance of 14.95 meters...Finished eighth in the shot put at the Tom Benich Track and Field Classic (April 3)...took sixth in the shot put at the University of Colorado Invitational (April 10) with a distance of 15.19 meters.

High School: Ken lettered in track and football while attending Pueblo South High School in Pueblo, Colo. He was the 4A state champion in the shot put three times. He garnered all-state honors in track and all-league honors in football. He was also an honor roll student.

Personal: Ken was born to Mark and Jo Harriman on Aug. 19, 1990, in Pueblo, Colo. He has an older brother, Greg, and an older sister, Ashley. He has yet to declare a major.
