2007: Qualified for the NCAA regionals in the 200 and 400. At the outdoor MWC championship placed second in the 400 and set the school record in prelims at 46.15. During the indoor season he hit the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA championship in the 400 with a school-record time of 46.74 and also in the 200 with a 21.15. He was also the MWC champion in the 400 and placed second in the 200 and anchored CSU's all-conference 4 x 400.

2006: Qualified for the NCAA regionals in the 400 meters and was fifth at the conference meet. Also finished seventh in the 200 meters at the MWC championship. At the indoor conference championship, he qualified by finishing fourth in the 200 and sixth in the 400, but did not run in finals due to injury. Ranks second in the 400, fourth in the 200 and eighth on the CSU charts in the 60 meters for indoor competitions and second in the 400 and fourth in the 200 on the outdoor lists.

2005: Redshirted the outdoor season. Earned all-conference honors during indoor with his third-place finish in the 200 meters. Also placed fourth in the 60 and sixth in the 400.
