2009 (Junior): During the indoor season, Andrew scored once. He took first place in the 3,000-meter run (8:54.04) at the Air Force Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 13). He had his best time of the year in the 1,500-meter race, scoring with a second-place finish (3:58.46) at the Wyoming City Gem Duals (April 18). He also scored at the MWC championships (May 13) with a seventh-place finish in the 10,000-meter race (32:58.13).

2005-08: Andrew attended Division II Western State College of Colorado, where he recorded a 2008 season best of 9:08.10 in the 3,000-meters at the Joe Davies Invitational (Jan. 26).

High School: Andrew lettered four times in cross country and three times in track while attending Fort Collins High School in Fort Collins, Colo. He was a three-time all-conference selection in cross country and two-time all-conference honoree in track. He was all-state in track in 2004 (4x800-meters) and 2005 (1,600-meters and 3,200-meters). He won the Class 5A Fort Collins city championship in 2005 in the 4x800-meters and 3,200-meters. He holds school records in the 4x800-meters (7:53) and the 4x1 mile (18:08).

Personal: Andrew was born Aug. 10, 1986, to Blair Mauk and Karen Ronkainen. He has a brother, Spencer. He is majoring in art.
