2007: Placed eigth in the indoor 400 meters with a personal-record of 48.79 and helped the second place 4x400 team at the Mountain West Conference meet. Placed sixth in the outdoor 400 meter hurdles as well, and hit several personal records at the end of the season with a top time of 52.42. Kyle was also all-MWC academic in 2007.

2006: Redshirted the outdoor season. Ran in six indoor races, finishing in the top 15 five times. Won the 600 yards at the Nebraska Triangular.

2005: Redshirted the indoor season. Finished fifth at the Mountain West Championship in the 400 hurdles as a true freshman with a personal best time of 53.64. In all five meets he competed in, Keeler finished in the top five and reduced his time every single week. His best time from the conference meet was the Rams' fastest time during the year and was second fastest among Mountain West Conference freshmen and it also ranks among the top 20 times in school history.
