High School: Whitney lettered in volleyball, basketball and track while attending Corvallis High School in Corvallis, Mont. She was named all-conference as a volleyball and track athlete and received the All-Valley Sportsmanship Award. She was the state champion in the 4x100-meter relay in 2006 and 2007 and was also the state champion in the 100-, 200- and 300-meter races in 2008. Whitney holds her high school record in the 400-meters with a time of 57.9. She was an all-conference player as she captained her volleyball team in 2008. She was also an all-star player as she captained the basketball team in 2008 and 2009. Whitney was named academic all-state and was on the honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born on March 4, 1991, to Stacey and Marilyn Auch in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has two younger sisters, Angella and Marsaday, and a younger brother, Colby. She is majoring in political science.
