2008 (Freshman): After gaining experience during the indoor season, Brian had a successful outdoor season with scores in three events. At the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 25), he finished in third place in the 200 meters (21.72) and in second place in the 400 meters (49.68). At the Front Range Championships (May 3), he finished in fifth place in the 400 meters (48.63). Finally he finished in eighth place in the 400 meters (49.26) at the MWC outdoor championships (May 14). Following the season, he was named an MWC Scholar-Athlete.

High School: Brian was a varsity letterwinner in both football and track while attending Fort Collins High School. In 2007 he was named track MVP. He was part of the conference champions in 2005 and regional champions in 2006 and 2007. He holds the school record in the 4x200 meter relay (1:27.01), set in 2007.

Personal: Brian was born Dec. 14, 1988, to Daniel and Janet Fox in Boulder, Colo. He has two sisters, Laurie and Megan. His mother ran track at Colorado State, his sister Laurie ran track at Penn State and his sister Meagan ran track at CSU. He is majoring in sports medicine.
