2008 (Junior): During the indoor season, Kirsten was a consistent scorer. She scored at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 1) with a seventh-place finish in the mile(5:13.41). At the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 28) she posted two scores, finishing third in the 5,000 meters (17:49.46) and sixth in the 3,000 meters (10:33.65), and earned an all-MWC honor in the 5,000 meters. During the outdoor season, she scored with a second-place finish in the 3,000 meters (10:18.31) at the Front Range Championships (May 3).

2007 (Sophomore): During the indoor season, Kirsten posted two scores, including a win in the 800 meters (2:17.38) at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 2). She also scored at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 22) with a fourth-place finish in the mile (5:00.45). During the outdoor season she scored twice, both in the 1,500 meters. She finished in sixth place (4:55.62) at the Rob Upton Invitational (March 24) and then finished in third place (4:27.13) at the MWC outdoor championships (May 9), setting a new personal best. 2006: Kirsten redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

2005 (Freshman): Kristen scored at the Air Force Classic (Feb. 5) with a fifth place finish in the mile (5:17.15).

High School: Kirsten lettered in three sports while attending Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo. She earned all-city honors in cross country (2002-03) and track (2003), and won the Colorado state individual cross country championship in 2002. She holds the high school 4x800 meter record, set in 2003.

Personal: Kirsten was born Sept. 1, 1986, to Jack and Margo Anthony. She has a younger sister, Shannon. She is majoring in apparel and merchandising.
