FORT COLLINS, Colo. -  After a solid regular season, Colorado State will conclude its indoor season with a short trip to Colorado Springs for the  Mountain West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. The three-day championship will take place Air Force Academy's Cadet Field House .

"I think our athletes are looking forward to the opportunity to compete at the MWC championships," said Head Coach Brian Bedard. "Both teams have been hit with some injuries and sickness but I would assume that all of the teams are dealing with the same things we are.  The team standings will be separated by a few points either way.

"I would really like to see our men's team compete like they are capable of competing, as they have been a bit up and down this indoor season.  Our women have been more consistent and look to be in a four-way race for the title.  It will be exciting to see how it all plays out when the gun goes off."

The Rams will have three days of competition, starting Thursday with the multi events . The remainder of the team will begin competition on Friday. Live results will be available at throughout the weekend.
