High School: Ryan was a three-sport athlete at Clear Creek High School in Evergreen, Colo., lettering in football, basketball and track. He was named all-league in basketball his senior season and took home the same honor for track in the triple jump, long jump and high jump. He was named the outstanding track athlete all four years. He was captain of both the basketball and track teams in his senior season.

Personal: He was born Oct. 29, 1989, to Peter and Ginny Wasilawski in Denver, Colo. He has an older sister, Alyson. He is majoring in health and exercise science.
