2009 (Junior): During the indoor season, Jennifer scored twice at the Air Force Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 13), finishing sixth in the weight throw (16.84m) and seventh in the shot put (13.73m). She also scored in the shot put, finishing third (15.23m) at the MWC indoor championships. Jennifer scored four times during the outdoor season, beginning with a second-place finish in the shot put (13.80m) at the Wyoming Gem City Duals (April 18). She followed that up with by scoring in the hammer throw, with a fourth-place finish (49.71m) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 24). She scored in the shot put with a fourth-place finish (13.30m) at the Front Range Invitational (May 2). She scored at the MWC championships (May 13), with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (14.53m). Jennifer ended her season competing in the shot put at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet.

2008 (Sophomore): Jennifer scored during the indoor season at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 28), where she finished fifth in the shot put (13.89m). During the outdoor season, she recorded a number of scores. At the Mesa Classic (April 11), she finished first in the shot put (13.78m) and seventh in the hammer throw (46.74m). At the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 25), she finished third in the shot put (13.14m) and seventh in the hammer throw (49.47m). At the Front Range championships (May 3), she finished third in the shot put (13.43m). At the MWC outdoor championships (May 14), she finished fifth in the shot put (14.11m) and eighth in the hammer throw (48.67m).

2007 (Freshman): Jennifer competed at the USA Junior Nationals (June 21), where she came in second place in the shot put (14.83 meters), setting a personal best in the process. She also participated in the Junior Pan-American Games (July 7), where she came in second place in the shot put (14.58m). During the indoor season she posted two scores in the shot put, finishing first (14.56m) at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 2) and fifth (13.93m) at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 22). During the outdoor season, she posted scores at three events. At the Rob Upton Invitational (March 24), she finished first in the shot put (13.09m) and eighth in the hammer throw (42.08m). At the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 21), she finished second in the shot put (14.56m), setting a personal best. At the MWC outdoor championships (May 9), she finished fifth in the shot put (13.87m).

High School: Jennifer was a letterwinner in both track and volleyball while attending Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas. Three times she was first-team all-district in volleyball, and in 2006 she was named all-state in track. She was track team MVP from 2004-06 and volleyball MVP in 2005 and 2006. In 2006, she won the state shot put championship. She holds school records in the shot put (13.14m) and in the discus throw (38.19m), both set in 2006.

Personal:
Jennifer was born Sept. 1, 1988, to Geoffrey and Josephine Ugochukwu in Dallas, Texas. She has two brothers, Franklin and Scott. Her brother Franklin played football at William Jewell College. She is majoring in health and exercise science.
