2009 (Junior): Sulaiman scored once during the indoor season with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter dash (6.89) at the MWC indoor championships. During the outdoor season, Sulaiman scored with a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash (10.81) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 24).

2008 (Sophomore): During the indoor season, Sulaiman scored with a fourth-place finish (6.80) in the 60-meters at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 28). He was a consistent scorer during the outdoor season. He scored twice at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 25), finishing second (10.80) in the 100-meters and fourth (22.10) in the 200-meters. He also scored twice at the Front Range Championships (May 3), finishing fifth (10.57) in the 100-meters and sixth (21.74) in the 200-meters.

2007 (Freshman): Sulaiman scored three times during the indoor season, initially by finishing seventh (7.04) in the 60-meters at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 2). He then scored twice at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 22) with a fifth-place finish (6.91) in the 60-meters and an eighth-place finish (22.32) in the 200-meters. He scored during the outdoor season at the Rob Upton Invitational (March 24) with an eighth-place finish in the 100-meters (11.76). He also earned a spot on the MWC Academic all-conference team.

High School: Sulaiman was a varsity letterwinner in track and field while attending Broomfield High School in Broomfield, Colo. In 2005 he was the Class 4A champion in the 100-meter dash.

Personal: Sulaiman was born April 20, 1989, to Aasim and Bebina Sayyid in Iloilo City, Philippines. He has a brother, Majdi, and a sister, Khadijah. His father played football at the University of Nebraska. He is majoring in sports medicine.
