2009 (Sophomore): Brittany began the indoor season at the Air Force Indoor All-Comers Meet (Jan. 16), where she finished seventh in the 800-meters (2:29.81). She would go on to best that time in the Don Barrett Air Force Duals (Jan. 31) with a time of 2:25.54 and a 10th-place finish. In her final competition of the indoor season she finished sixth in the mile run (5:42.05) at the Air Force Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 13). She had a strong start to the outdoor season at the Rob Upton Invitational (March 28), finishing third in the 1,500-meters (5:06.62) and second in the 800-meters (2:28.01). She came in fourth in the 800-meters (2:23.51) at the Wyoming Gem City Duals (April 18), recording her best time of the season.

High School: Lettered four times in both cross country and track while attending Mullen High School in Denver, Colo. Was named rookie of the year in cross country her freshman year. Was part of the 2006 Colorado state champion track team and was named to the honor roll.

Personal: Born June 8, 1988, to Mike Lee and Jeannie Mitchell. Has an older brother, Brian, and an older sister, Brigit. Majoring in Spanish and international studies.
