2009 (Outdoor Freshman): Myla competed in two meets during the outdoor season, the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 24) and the Colorado State Ram open (May 9). She recorded her best time in the 800-meter run (2:28.81) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational.

High School: Myla earned letters in three different sports, two in volleyball, two in track and one in cross country while attending Alamogordo High School in Tehachapi, Calif. She received all-league honors in track and cross country and was the MVP of the volleyball team two years. She won a conference championship with the track team during the 2007-08 season.

Personal: Born May 21, 1990, to John and Robin Kilchrist in Tucson, Ariz. She has a younger sister, Meagan. She is majoring in mathematics.
